K9 crystal rings a stainless steel frame, so the fixture sits close to the ceiling and still throws light in every direction. Switched on, the crystal breaks the light into small bright points across a ceiling and walls; switched off, it reads as a polished band of gold or chrome. It works where a long-drop chandelier will not fit — a bedroom, a hallway, an entry with a standard ceiling.
